Equality, Diversity and Inclusion at COGNICA

At COGNICA we understand the importance of creating an environment in which our colleagues can bring their whole selves to work and be proud of who they are. Diversity and inclusion are vital elements in achieving our goals and successes. As part of the RSK Group, COGNICA are committed to demonstrating the values of the RSK Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Pledge.

Alongside a dedicated EDI team, a number of global employee networks have been created within the company to share life experiences and promote different voices and perspectives. Employees across the RSK Group can join any of these networks and you can even start our own. Some of these networks include RSK with Unity, RSK Pride, the Neurodiversity network, the Women’s Network and the Armed Forces Network.

There are a number of events actively organised, and stories published within and from these groups to promote awareness on many topics and experiences across our company.

What are RSK Employee Networks?

RSK Employee Networks are made up of a variety of volunteer members from within the RSK community who join together based on shared characteristics, interests, aspirations or life experiences. Employee Networks foster awareness, community, respect, and inclusion within the workplace. They allow employees the opportunity to identify common interests and decide how they can be shared with others. Employee networks also act as an education tool within RSK and provide support to those who identify with the network but also employees who may be indirectly affected by the network subject.

Promoting our commitment to EDI, COGNICA had a visit from the RSK Connect team with mascot Bertie the Bear, celebrating their one year anniversary! Connect is our internal RSK employee communication app, it is a great platform to build connections and to empower each other to share experiences so that initiatives can continue to be developed.
