Appointed by Morgan Sindall, COGNICA were engaged to co-ordinate the document collation and delivery of the project hand-over documentation.
The new £28 million Oastler Building opened on 24 April 2017, Morgan Sindall was engaged as the principal contractor for the University of Huddersfield. The building has been named after one of the most inspirational figures in the town’s history, Richard Oastler (1789–1861).
The 7,500 sqm, six-storey building provides a new home for the University’s Law School and the School of Music, Humanities and Media. The building has been designed to complement existing buildings within the university including both Student Central and the adjacent Creative Arts Building.
