The BREEAM UK Refurbishment & Fit-Out (RFO) standard applies to projects involving the renovation, conversion, or fit-out of existing buildings. Based on BRE Technical Manual SD216 Issue 2.0 (May 2015), it provides a structured approach for assessing sustainability improvements across four parts: Fabric & Structure, Core Services, Local Services, and Interior Design.
